Hello Computer Artists and Fans! :-)
My name is Dave Wickard. I am the administrator of the Imagine
Mailing List (IML). We are a group of computer artists both
amateur and professional, who share an interest in the 3D rendering
program "Imagine" from Impulse Inc.
Recently, we held a contest for all users of Imagine.
The file you have gotten along with this description, are some of the
contestants from that contest.
This file contains entries that were ineligible for prizes because
the artist had already won with another entry. Non-winners, but as I'm
sure you will agree, they are superb works of computer art.
This should give you an idea of the power of the program, as well as the
creativity and imagination of some of the users.
All the 24bit images have been stored with JPEG compression to make them
more universally viewable as well as preserving the highest possible
quality with the image and keeping the sizes within manageable limits for
FTP or downloading access. All of the HAM images, objects and the
animation were left as submitted.
The images contained in this archive are the property of the individual
artist, who has allowed this distribution of his work by the IML
administrator. That means, the images may NOT be used in any commercial
manner without permission being given by the artist himself.
If you wish to contact the artist, the contact info is included below.
I also have talked to these artists, and can put you in touch with them
if you have trouble with the listed info.
This archive may be distributed intact...that is, you MUST include this
text file with it and the images may not be manipulated in any way.
Here are the filenames:

image was created by Don
using Essence and Imagine. Don can be reached via his
DonH@cup.portal.com account.
"RenderSuite" by Michael Comet of Beachwood Ohio. Michael created this
JPEG image using Imagine, Light24 and AdPro 1.0. Michael
can be reached at mbc@po.cwru.edu.
"Plate" by Chris Hurtt of Boulder Colorado. Chris used AdPro 2.0
and DPaint IV to create this unique HAM image. Chris can be
reached at hurtt@ucsu.colorado.edu
"SpaceFighters" by Michael Comet. Another HAM image by Michael. He created
it using Imagine 2.0, Light24, and AdPro 1.0.
"ATAT" by Chris Hurtt. Another fine HAM entry by Chris. He used
AdPro 2.0 and Essence to aid in it's creation.
"Tops" by Michael Comet. Another HAM image by Michael. This one
was created using Imagine 2.0 and AdPro 1.0.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
I hope you enjoy these images as much as I do.
