  7. Hello Computer Artists and Fans!  :-)

  10. My name is Dave Wickard. I am the administrator of the Imagine 
  11. Mailing List (IML). We are a group of computer artists both
  12. amateur and professional, who share an interest in the 3D rendering
  13. program "Imagine" from Impulse Inc.
  14.  
  15. Recently, we held a contest for all users of Imagine.
  16.  
  17. The file you have gotten along with this description, are some of the
  18. contestants from that contest. 
  19.  
  20. This file contains entries that were ineligible for prizes because
  21. the artist had already won with another entry. Non-winners, but as I'm
  22. sure you will agree, they are superb works of computer art.
  23.  
  24. This should give you an idea of the power of the program, as well as the
  25. creativity and imagination of some of the users.
  26.  
  27. All the 24bit images have been stored with JPEG compression to make them
  28. more universally viewable as well as preserving the highest possible
  29. quality with the image and keeping the sizes within manageable limits for
  30. FTP or downloading access. All of the HAM images, objects and the
  31. animation were left as submitted.
  32.  
  33. The images contained in this archive are the property of the individual
  34. artist, who has allowed this distribution of his work by the IML
  35. administrator. That means, the images may NOT be used in any commercial
  36. manner without permission being given by the artist himself.
  37.  
  38. If you wish to contact the artist, the contact info is included below.
  39. I also have talked to these artists, and can put you in touch with them
  40. if you have trouble with the listed info.

  43. This archive may be distributed intact...that is, you MUST include this
  44. text file with it and the images may not be manipulated in any way.

  52.               using Essence and Imagine. Don can be reached via his

  55. "RenderSuite" by Michael Comet of Beachwood Ohio. Michael created this
  56.               JPEG image using Imagine, Light24 and AdPro 1.0. Michael
  57.               can be reached at mbc@po.cwru.edu.

  59. "Plate"       by Chris Hurtt of Boulder Colorado. Chris used AdPro 2.0 
  60.               and DPaint IV to create this unique HAM image. Chris can be
  61.               reached at hurtt@ucsu.colorado.edu

  63. "SpaceFighters" by Michael Comet. Another HAM image by Michael. He created 
  64.               it using Imagine 2.0, Light24, and AdPro 1.0.

  68.               AdPro 2.0 and Essence to aid in it's creation.
